Here it is. The cover for Issue 07 by India’s very own Dann Rei.! I hope you guys like it. I’ve decided top release the printed version sometime after the issue ends this time. Will post the details later. But rest assured it will be available at the next Mumbai Comic Con.

Dann Rei did an Awesome job with the first draft, but I still felt Fyre needed to have major focus for this cover. That could only be done if the the current rough draft had to be altered. I sent Dan a rough of what I had in mind & she inturn sent me here version which I found nailed all the characters pretty well, just needed a few details to be added. Here’s the exchange me & Dann had.
So I know you guys have been waiting to see the Issue 7 cover & I know it’s been delayed as the previous artist had to back out due to personal commitments. The New cover is being done by one very talented Individual who is an Awesome manga artist in her own right. The final cover is almost ready now. Yup, Dann Rei (http://dann-rei.deviantart.com/) will be doing the new cover & I will be posting a step by step process of the covers conceptualization. Those who are part of our Facebook fan page will get an early glimpse but rest assures I will be creating a blog entry for each progress pic here.
Here’s the first draft Dann sent me. Despite being Awesome I felt more focus need to be added on Fyre as the Chapter does revolve around her.

First off, Huge news! I’ll be starting Issue 7 this Friday instead of the 27th! Do not miss out on it!
Beast Legion bagged the Comic Con India Award for ‘The Best Webcomic Series’ . I’m humbled at all the support you guys have shown from across the web for the manga be it Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else. It’s truly a motivating factor to keep the comic going.
I was kinda stunned when I was asked to inaugurate the WACOM Bamboo Manga tablet by none other than Wacom India’s Country Manager Mr. Rajeev Nagar who was gracious enough for giving me the opportunity. Another highlight for me was a chance to meet & gift a set to Mr Chris Oliveros of the ever popular Drawn & Quarterly.
Also I was expecting a huge crowd at the Comic Con , but WOW there were 35000 people who visited the convention over a 3 day period & we sold around 400 copies in the time frame. Here’s a few pics from the event.More to come…
